Religious Education

Religious Education is studied by all students in Year 10  and 11 as part of the Personal Development carousel. The aim of the course is for you to gain a wider knowledge of issues that affect religious and non-religious people, and to spend some time thinking about how you would respond to some difficult questions. You will look at a variety of topics and questions to which religions have clear responses.

Lessons will incorporate some current affairs topic where there is a clear link to religion.

Year 10 — Religion and diversity in modern Britain

Year 11 — Do we need religion to be ethical?
