There will be 2 written examinations that will measure how well the following assessment outcomes have been met:
A01 — Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of business concepts and issues.
A02 — Apply knowledge and understanding of business concepts and issues to a variety of contexts.
A03 — Analyse and evaluate business information and issues to demonstrate understanding of business activity making judgements and draw conclusions.
A positive attitude and a willingness to work through individual study to ensure that knowledge learnt in the class-room can successfully move into your long-term memory.
Career opportunities
The knowledge and skills gained from this course will provide a good foundation for further study in A Level Business and Level 3 BTEC in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship. Alternatively, it is a good grounding for an apprenticeship specialising in Business, as well as numerous jobs in the business industry. You can use skills in areas such as communication, global markets, banking, finance, human resources, marketing, research and development.
