When to apply for secondary school
- 1 September 2025: On-line application process opens - https://www.leicester.gov.uk/schools-and-learning/school-and-colleges/school-admissions/starting-secondary-school/apply-for-a-secondary-school-place/
- 31 October 2025: Closing date for applications. Applications received after this date will be treated as late
- 3 March 2025: Allocation day
- 2 March 2026: Deadline to submit an appeal
- From 24 August 2026: Your child starts school
